Central Florida Academy was founded with the intent to improve the self-efficacy of students by providing them with a learning environment that practices positive reinforcement, allows for creative expression, and supports innovation in learning. We focus on developing the unique character and intellect of each student. Our goal is to empower each student by laying the
foundation for his or her success in life.
The academy has a proud tradition of fostering a creative learning environment that encourages the development of student growth and the improvement of critical thinking skills. We deliver an environment where small classes and teacher support allow children to flourish and be happy. We are equipped with a highly qualified staff that is trained to understand the different learning styles of their students and help them to maximize their potential.
Central Florida Academy was founded to satisfy the need for a school in which students could receive a quality education that was not driven by standardized test scores. The school has demonstrated effectiveness and success through the accomplishments of its graduates, who have moved on to higher education in colleges and universities within the states, vocational training, and armed forces.
Commitment to Excellence
This school needs to be able to support the needs of todayβs learners by providing them with the necessary tools to succeed in their education by stretching beyond the norms and identifying roadblocks to their academic growth. Each member of the organization is responsible for being their studentβs biggest advocate and ensuring that they have adequate support through their educational journey.
The school has adopted a coherent, sequenced plan of instruction that ensures consistent teaching and learning expectations. Learning is easier when you have excellent teachers. This is why our teachers are trained to identify and work with the uniqueness of each learner. Our faculty is passionate about the subjects they teach and they bring this enthusiasm into each lesson they deliver.
Whether accessing the campus remotely or on campus, teachers deliver quality instruction and lessons prescribed to meet state standards for each grade.
Standardized Testing
We use MAP Growth as a clear reference for monitoring learning across each grade level. Students are required to take entrance tests to assess their current skills.
Click on the link below to review our adopted policies establishing standards of ethical conduct for all instructional personnel and school administrators. Training is conducted at least once a year on this policy and on how to identify and report child abuses of abuse.
All students should be considered for admission without prejudice. Our schools offer equal opportunities, without distinction or discrimination because of race, color, sex, religion, age, national origin, physical handicap, or mental impairment in any of its academic programs or activities, or any of its employment practices.
Our schools are participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) as part of the National School Lunch Program for the school year 2022-2023. Under this provision, participating districts and schools provide free breakfast and lunch to all students at all times. All students enrolled in the schools listed below will receive meals through the School Breakfast Program (SBP) and National School Lunch Program (NSLP) at no charge. Household income applications are no longer required to determine eligibility for free or reduced-price meals at schools participating in the CEP.
