We are an independent private school enrolling students ranging from infants through 12th grade. We have a full range of programs that you would expect to find in a quality school, including performing arts, visual arts, computer, studio and, dual enrollment placement, physical education and vocational programs registered and accredited by NIPSA - National Independent Private School Association & SACS- Southern Association for Colleges and Schools.
Our Pre-school program is a Gold Seal Quality Program licensed by the Department of Children and Families. CFA is an approved program provider for children 4 years of age participating in the State of Florida Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program (VPK). Central Florida Academy is also an approved School Readiness Provider for the Early Learning Coalition of Volusia and Flagler County.
Central Florida Academy reserves the right to change or modify the rules, regulations, policies, instructors, programs, class times, class dates, program contents, equipment, staff or materials as it deems necessary in order to ensure student success. Such changes may be necessary in order for the school upholds its purpose, and to improve teaching methods or procedures. Central Florida Academy is committed to maintaining an organizational climate where shared values are evident. These policies will be created as a collaboration of efforts between Administrators, administrator’s teachers, parents, and students. Any and all proposed changes will be discussed at an advisory board meeting and adopted upon making the decision to implement. The board will meet quarterly in order to discuss the school's progress and make recommendations for improvement. Impromptu meetings will be held at the request of the Administrator.
It is the policy of the Central Florida Academy that all of its students have an educational setting that is safe, secure and free from harassment and bullying of any kind. Bullying and harassment are behaviors that will not be tolerated. Conduct that constitutes bullying and harassment, as defined in the student handbook is prohibited and renders an automatic 10 day suspension from the program and possible expulsion.
